Works included upgrading the site from old vertical split case line shaft pumps to modern dry mounted submersibles. This included the installation of a second DN300 riser which together with the new pumps increased the performance capability of the site considerably. 85kw Wilo EMU pumps were installed on custom made mounting pedestals to accommodate the preexisting suction lines with modifications made to the discharge accordingly. New DN375 RS ACC suction valves were fitted, DN300 ACC RS discharge valves and swingflex check valves and a DN300 ABB flowmeter fitted to the new riser.
