Works included fabricating and fitting larger, lightweight aluminium lids to five separate pump station sites at Biloela. Most sites only had 600mm diameter manhole access in place.
Lids were fabricated in house to suit the individual sites and the works completed over two days on site to see them fitted with the stations live. This included cutting the concrete to the correct size with the use of our crane truck to support the cut sections and eliminate the risk of any damage to the pipework and components beneath. All cut surfaces were then treated with Sikagard so the exposed reo would not corrode then the new lids fitted.
